i didnt dislike the change of combat i just missed the "group feeling"except for like 5 scenes maximum you had no actual idea they were friends

and to say that final fantasy viii, ix and x were horrible TruthOrdeal, that is just a blatant faux pas. If you loved ffvi and vii, then there is no way that ffx, ix or viii were "horrible".

final fantasy isn't going to be going downhill. Final Fantasy XII was a fantastic game, its just that so many people are stuck in a rut of the "good old days" of final fantasy. yes, final fantasy iv through x were amazing games. Square Enix is going down the Action/RPG path because turn based rpgs are just a dying breed. I'm going to miss it, but theres always the classics. FFXII is the start of something great, and i'm glad they changed.

Ugh, 12 was pretty good for an action rpg, but this just looks like FF's version of Code Geass.

10 was horrible. As were 8 and 9. Plus, I wouldn't consider any of those "old-school."FF6 and 7 for the win, though.

I KNOW! I have such a terrible time playing because by the time I pick a decent move I have been hit so much that I have to heal myself before I can do it!

Completely agree with you there raiokei. I loved all of the FFs but XII was, in a word terrible! The characters had no depth, there was no love story... nothing! I hope they turn it around and go back to the beginning with XIII.
