to me, SHTS was much better lyrically. Much deeper.

Deffinately, both albums are insane, and their new EP is also awesome, but SHTS just wins for me.And I saw them at portsmouth on the 22nd and also this year at GIAN. The portsmouth show was AMAZING :D

ok... I love say hello to sunshine. Im not Agreeing or Disagreeing with anyone... I just think that the newest album has more meaning to it. I do think that some of their music can attach to personal experiences, that is what may cause the disagreements, but who knows. regardless, they are a great band and I appreciate them for what they produce!

I agree, I love every song from SHTS and I'm glad the band made a complete turn on their style, though WIITB was still good (just not as good :P)Also where'd you see Finch? Saw them on the 10th at the leadmill in sheffield :)

I personally think SHTS was the better album, and as for what 02476 said .. what a load of rubbish, I watch Finch on Saturday and they played way more SHTS than WIITB, they want fans who appreciate THEIR music, not fans who expect albums which all sound like WIITB

Considering they broke up over it and vowed they would start back playing it, would kind of insinuate not a great deal of the fans liked it. also they stopped playing letters to you because its a cliché of a song but they have started playing it again. there trying to win back fans and its not working by all accounts there not forgiven for that album. dont mistake this comment as a slamming of finch i still like them they just need to go backwards instead of forwards and they realise that.

the reason say hello to sunshine is so good is because it broke away from their previous media sound, they had their own in say hello to sunshine, and they can choose to sound anyway that they want, so it had nothing to do with a broken sound, just experimenting.

that was an EP

They are back together i seen them last nyt and im in england!! still that aside i dont care what anyone says say hello to sunshine is a fucking terrible album when you compair it to there previous album what it is to burn. i see what your saying they aare completely different but why change style why fix it if its not broken they will never make an album as good as what it is to burn. they can try tho and ill keep listening.
