cherokeemaxx, if you knew anything about economics, you would realize that gas prices are down because the economy is so bad and no one is buying gas. When the demand for something goes down, then the price goes down. Therefore, the reason that gas is so low, is because of our bad economy. You would know that if you watched the news.

get this... OBAMA HAS NOT EVEN BEEN SWORN IN AS PRESIDENT. HIS IDEAS AND PLANS HAVE NOT STARTED TO TAKE EFFECT AND THEY WILL NOT UNTIL JAN.20. bush is still president and HIS CURRENT plans are because of the price of gas.

We havent had a cool president since Clinton (and Obama is a whole lot cooler than Clinton; he actually inhaled). I remember the Clinton economic recovery, plentiful hi-tech jobs in this country, low gas-prices, a BALANCED BUDGET WITH A SURPLUS and PEACE. Alcohol should be restricted, or outlawed: look at the crime, domestic-violence, and traffic-deaths fueled by either alcohol RAGES, or alcohol LOSS OF SELF-CONTROL, and college kids die by the scores from ALCOHOL POISONING!

Gas is now a $1.64 a gallon at the local WAWA.Cheaper than its been in over TWENTY YEARS. And, NO DRILLING WAS NEEDED. With Obama's deployment of Alternative Energy devices and systems formerly surpressed by Big Oil, and the Bushes, demand for petroleum goes even lower, to less than a dollar a gallon for regular. Food prices will get cheaper, airlines right now are saving millions... The seeds of an economic recovery are being planted.
