The change IS forever. My husband was a Marine, and even after he was out, he still was a Marine! LOL he acted that way, he still folded his clothes the way he had been taught, still said "head, cover, rack" for "bathroom, hat, bed" and so much more. I loved every minute of it and am so proud that he was my husband, and that he was a Marine. I will miss him every day of my life until we meet again. Semper Fi in heaven, Steve. Someday.
