Self-deprecating also jumped out at me. This may possibly be about acting only and Jared doesn't realize how good he is.

no no, I sure I know him best in the whole wide world...joke aside of course David knows him best but in my humble opinion, being a extremely self-deprecating person is not the image Jared normally portrays to the public world which is the Jared I know. Was that wording more exceptable?

Am I the only one who find it strange to hear Fincher call Jared "a extremely self-deprecating person"? That's not the Jared i know :)
