you make it look so easy...absolutely beautiful, mr grillo

I just used a reverb pedal, and amplified through a mixer with an external speaker. It's very easy to run the theremin through an effects pedal, or wah pedal. Sounds cool too.

What is the method of amplification on one of these? It might be cool to try to channel one through a wah or distortion pedal. Maybe play some funk Theremin or something. Do you think that would be an easy thing to do?

Thanks for the kind words.Yes, I am a professional thereminist. There are quite a number of musicians exploring the theremin's cabibilities in music. You can find many of them on the web at thereminworld.some people are even writting music for the theremin.

Do you play it as a profession? Your work is exceptional. Do you know any experimental thereminist song makers? Is there anyone trying out it's potential sounds and possible new ways to intrepret music? (sorry for my bad english if there are anything not fully comprehensival in this text I'll explain it in other words.) Thank you for any answers in advance.

Thanks for the kind words. It's difficult to learn, master, and play, but it's extremely rewarding to play once you have mastered it.

I cannot imagine how difficult the theremin must have been to learn and master as you have. I've seen other video attempts and shudder at the thought of trying to play such a challenging instrument. Mr. Grillo you are truly a master.
