The world was never a great forest. Granted a lot of forest has been cut down, but not all land is/was forest. The rain forest is irreplaceable. The Brazilian people (among others) need to stop and think. LONG TERM SUSTAINABILITY is far more important than sugar cane ethanol.

sometimes many people uses to criticize another without looking at himself at the mirror....I think the world was a great forest a long time ago.. nowadays people who destroyed his own forests seems like a piece of shit trying to say "ohhhh brazilians are destroying amazon!!! brazilians are putting down trees to plant sugarcane!" Yeah, who cares if you're burning down irreplaceable rain forests to monocrop sugarcane. The cures for every disease known to man may be in those rain forests, but hey, we need our suv's.

With sugar cane ethanol this problem don´t happen. The remains of the sugar cane provides the energy to produce the ethanol. and plant herself absorves 2 times the co2 that will be produced in the process.

Because the more Ethanol we make, the more fossil fuel is wasted making the Ethanol, with its energy return on investment of less than 1. It takes more energy to make a gallon of ethanol than you get by burning it. We should be growing algae in the desert, not corn on the farm (For fuel).

FUTURE? Are you all crazy?!?!?!? LOL!!! We are using this sh*t here since 1964 and dont come from Corn, come from Sulgarcane, witch get more alcool the corn, and dont eat our food resorce. We up friends. We wish to give it to you, with no problem and for FREE!!!! Not because we love americans, but cause we are really worried about global worming and america are the NUMBER ONE in f*cking our planet.
