The way it's praciced, These tapes are played at normal speed. It's like "applied tai-chi" No strength or momentum is used, only positioning, balance and focus.

As O' Senseis high ranked students wne toff on their own. they created "subgroups" of Aikido, each focused on something a bit different from each other. Example Saito sensei was VERY skilled in weapon techniques and can be seen in his present day former students. Shioda sensei was extremely skilled in Aiki techniques, which is apparent Yoahinkan Aikido. They are all Aikido, they just each focus a bit more on one aspect more than another. Each student absorbed different parts of the system.
