In the old testiment there was a group of people that where going to build a tower that reached heaven, God had to split their languages in oder to stop them becuase he knew that they had enough faith to accomplish the task. Yes, everything begins in the mind and can be created wtih our thoughts, words and then actions. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen!

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Oprah was crying out ot God, releasing her faith. We being created in God's image all have the ability to faith something in to existance. She is taking the credit for something that God palced in her.

I agree with you lockhorse3.True, it has some great stories and philosophies in it but to most, It's not to be taken as "THE TRUTH" or "THE ULTIMATE WAY"It's full of contradictions and things that cannot be proven or even explainedIt ALMOST has as many as all of these Bibles (bibles, korans, toros, dianetics etc)Of course there are not people trying to kill other people because of it, but its pretty much says the same thingYou control your destiny or you let others control it for you
