Really? ;o I've never heard that before! Hmm.. Well, it might been a "lucky" break-up, cause you know.. it was from that point of time this song first got its market in history ;) Wouldn't it been for that break-up between G. Michael and her wife-this song wouldn't existed ;o but yea, pretty interesting, cause peoples today(2008), they got no inspiration and no idea what they can make a song of..TheyJustCopyOthersSongs, AndPasteIn VocalsThatDoesn'tFit..so they can say that's my song..u know..

I heard somewhere that this song was not intended to be a Christmas song. In fact, George Michael wrote it about a bad break-up he had during Christmas time, & then he ran into them at a store a year later; That's where the inspiration for this song came from.
