IN 1973 I got a job at Rainbow lanes in Brooklyn, as a pin chaser. Mark Roth was also working there, at that time he already had a reputation as a great bowler. as we became friends he would practice on 7-8 the pair also had a uneven ball cushion, if you hit it hard enough you could make the pins jump back on the deck and make all kinds of weird splits. many a time i would set up the 7-10 mark would make 3 of 10. I felt it was a waste of time, he didnt, shows you difference between good-great

nice one :)this evening, i bowled with a team on my dad's league, bowled a new record of 232 and made a 7 9 split, it looked awesome :P

I got a 7-10 once... but not as awesome as this guy or any other professional bowler. Mine was by - quite honestly - some unimaginable fluke.

He did - and he needed this conversion to do it as well, since it came late in the match and his opponent, Bill Straub, was battling him the entire time. This was a good match.
