That's interesting to hear you were part of the BPE. I've waited over two decades to see footage of this, and it's exactly as cool as I imagined it would be - arms flaying everywhere, people stepping in and out to do their bit. I especially liked the combination of bass notes (hammered directly on the strings) and the bow effects - all caught on camera so vividly. Found out about Steve Scott in Bedford library, UK. His first album I believe it was.

notation looks no different than a chamber music score....we use colors and numbers above notes to mark which parts of a measure each player plays.well...i should say "they" not "we." i graduated last year. sad....how i miss rehearsing and performing.

actually they were on the soundtrack for "traffic" but the scene got cut...Anyway, if you have the DVD, look in the deleted scenes and you'll hear it in the background.
