Sonic Advance is the first original Sonic on a Nintendo system. I believe the 1st game was Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on the Gamecube.

Sonic wasn't in super nintendo, infact he wasn't in nintendo until Sonic Heros or alittle earlier. Sonic was only in the Sega console for a few years.

for the most part your right sonic does need emeralds to transform but he also has multiple stages i.e. hyper sonic

But they Super Sonic is the only super powerup Sonic gets while Super Saiyans has other levels of power. Super Sonic needs the chaos emeralds to go super, the Saiyans do not and only need Ki energy.
