To see how irresponsible Warhol was, look at his whole career, especially work with Susan Bottomly, the underage problem drinker. This is consistent with the observation that, although he didn't force anyone to take drugs, he encouraged drug abuse, by filming people while they were high. Edie looks pretty drunk in Beauty #2 - or is that 8 ounces of ginger ale she has? Did you hear anybody say CUT? Or maybe, "What's that on your breath, Edie? How dare you ruin an Andy Warhol production?"

Do you really know anything about Edie? She was an intelligent, talented, and beautiful young woman when she met Warhol... She became addicted to drugs later on, but that in no way makes her a nobody! If anything, YOU sound completely shallow yourself! Why bother watching, if you dislike her so much, and have nothing but nasty things to say about her?!? This has nothing to do with my feelings about Warhol, although he did use and abuse people, including Edie... Think before you post!

Some of you mention that you hate, even passionately hate Warhol yet you talk about him giving him fame either way. I think the Guy was a fuckwit and if a bomb dropped on him, all his ilk and his 'clientel', the world wouldn't notice or pause for a moment. Edie was a drugged out nobody in the end because she was a shallow nothing at the begining.

Andy gave people a platform for what they wanted to share.Read his diaries, he was a true observer of humanity, and hadto be detatched a little and uninvolved for some truth, but yes he did lead in a way. NO ONE FORCES OTHERS TO TAKE DRUGS> People can do whatever they want.
