i agree with you, i mean the roller skattin they have competitions and finnals but i havent seen any olympic eventsmy little sister done roller skating for a while... she's the clone of me ten years apart lolshe was ok but some of the others were amazing there

It aint incorporated into the olympics (etc) probably it aint as common as baseball or football (etc). It would be good if roller skating sports gets more recognised. Anyway tanx for the reply answers.

each year the word sports are voted to be on the olympics by an olympic organization represented by every country. the ones that don't get enough votes don't get onto the olympics. i don't think its less common, i just don't think it gets as much coverage as ice skating or roller hockey.

the wheels and plates of roller skates are getting really light now, so maybe someday we'll be getting quad jumps :)

Why the heck isn't this an olympic sport? And for the one below who says we already have ice skating.... I don't see any iceskaters doing cartwheels or handstands. Do you? She was amazing.
