I love MC's version..HE may not be the best singer of all the phantoms, but he captures the evilness and seductiveness better than pretty much every other Phantom (most phantoms just sing the song)

Michaels voice is way better and Michael made a much sexier Phantom. I've seen the film and Michael in a whole performance and GB didn't have half the moves Michael does. I actually respect both guys as actors in diffeent roles and hate to be negative towards either one but when a bunch of movie fans and inmature kids start spamming the MC sites, doing nothing but dumping on him, then Mikes fans have a right to comment back! If you don't like MC then why watch his videos. Respect both guys!

I agree...Michael is waaaaaaaay better then Butler and a better actor and singer. Plus Michael is the one who brought a sensuality and sexiness to the Phantom that wasn't there in earlier versions. Nothing against the movie dude. Just my opinion after seeing both in a WHOLE performance.

Michael Crawford deserves a lifetime achievement award for his work. His voice will last a lifetime.(yes, this is coming from a straight guy. You don't have to be a girl or homosexual to like a musical.) *no offense to homosexuals of girls
