The back beat of "One, TWO, three, FOUR" is not elevator style. It's used in many, many rock and jazz beats. (I just forget which of the two).

"i can not believe some people can relate this to elevator music. c'mon are you serious? herbrie hancock, dave holland, pat metheny & jack dejohnette have never created "elevator music" collectively or in any solo setting." It his similarities to smooth jazz. Not saying I don't like it, and the musicianship is farrr better than "elevator music". But there are definitely similarities: i.e. the back beat (one TWO three FOUR), the guitar tone, etc...
