Yep, is clutch drag, they don't build it to last more than a hand full of hours, and it spends 99% of that time in gear.Also, F1 cars idle around 6000rpms because the power doesn't come in until about 12000, and redline until 19000+... that's how you get 850+hp out of a 3.5L v-10... or in the renault's case, reported 1000+ hp.Good times. F1 rules!
