Zor-Ath is not pleased. But really, who would be? You know, the thing that frustrates me about Starcon3 is again, wasted potential. The idea of the Kzer-Za and the Kohr-Ah having to reunite into one society again under the banner of some League or another is interesting to me, and Zor-Ath actually talks about how difficult it is for the Green and Black Ur-Quan to even see each other and be reminded of what they used to be before the Dnyarri tore them apart. That's interesting! And then they did nothing with it. This is actually the closest they get, as far as I know.Darn it, Starcon3.

The Words! The words, the words.Mates, you have spoken the words. You have spoken them rightly. The Music of SC3 is embarrissing, the voices are not that well spoken, and the menue of being in a planet's orbit is boring.I never really played SC3, but after I fell in love with SC2, I do not even want to.Furthermore, in my opinion, Ur-Quan had to have four more tentacles, not just a fat torso hanging from the ceiling. If they do this generally, they must be able to move while 'hanging'!*Sigh*

That was one of my big problems with SC3 too.

People often have a go at SC3 for many reasons, but my main problem was the fact that the music is so beyond poor against SC2 it's not even funny. It's just some boring, generic MIDI instead of the bombastic, character-defining, memorable music that SC2 had.

Played them in order myself. Star Control 1 was quite a simple game, but there was a smidgen of a story, that they developped absolutely wonderfully in Star Control 2.Then came three and I was exited... And increasingly disappointed as I played it. Even more so when I finished it in only three days. Most of the new races sucked, half of the dialogue was just stolen from SC2, the plot wasn't riveting, the map was tiny. Many of the new ideas where stupid. Just... SC3 was so disappointing.

I Like your thinking. it would not have that story quality to it. but still be fun, but your probably right though. This was the first star control i played so i did not know any better at the time ,but when i played 1,2. I new the story was week in star control 3.

RTS isn't the way to go for Star Control I think. The story and humour is very important to a proper SC2 follow-up, and wouldn't come off well in an RTS game.Atually though, I fear that in the age of WoW and games like that. There might not be much of a market for a PROPER SC2 sequel anymore. Everyone wants shooters, multiplayer functions, mmorpgs and stuff like that nowadays. To be honest, I'd rather have no sequel to SC2, then another crappy one. Or one that doesn't have the same spirit.

THis part was bs their is no way to beat the black urquan back and no conclusion to this story i really hated this part it olny kept me from building more ur quan ships i wish you could actually conqure plantes in this game . i think a RTS star control game would be better but taht just me. if they did it like the make game Ares it would be better.

I tried speaking to an Ur-Quan colony before I spoke to their Homeworld. They told me to talk to Zor-Ath as she was their leader.
