He also was received an honorable award form the chicago mayor for edgicator (spelling,i know)of the year. Bill Ayers was trying to end the Vietnam War after so many innocent civilians were killed in the unpopular war. Over 70% of the American people at the time wanted the war to end. Ayers regretted that he wasn't successful at ending the Vietnam War sooner so he wished he had done more to stop the war - that is all he meant. Republicans were on the same education board as Obama and Ayers and the founder of the board was a Republican. Republicans are such IDIOTS. I will never vote GOP.

I believe Ayer had a good heart who cared for many lives. He did not bombs, because he wanted to save thousands and thousands of lives. He was trying to stop the goverment from entering the war, which he believe it could kill many lives.

I'm really saddened by the fact that the people who voted for Obama weren't at all concerned about Obama's relationship with Bill Ayers, a terrorist who bombed the NYC Police Headquarters in '70, the U.S. Capitol building in '71, and the Pentagon in '72. It's also very telling that the L.A. Times won't release the videotape of Obama at Khalidi's farewell party. I'm sure they're covering up some incriminating information.

The difference between McCain and obama's associations is that Obama's associations were the product of like minds thinking alike while McCain disagreed with them. The two didn't found political organizations with similar goals and when it got tough he didn't shitcan his "friends" because of bad press.
