"99% of those in the service are good people " and 1% of a million are 10,000. After WW2, it was fully justified to prosecute German and Japanese war criminals. No single allied war criminal was ever prosecuted. Double morale: yes, but why? Nowadays, those criminals shoot at a enemy, already wounded and NOT moving (is online here). This in front of a running camera! One wonders what happens in Iraq when no news team is on site. Do you dare to imagine this?

War is bloody and cruel. That is the reality. To define such actions as Haditha and Abu Ghraid as war crimes is a insult to actual "war crimes" and "genocides" currently taking place in the world.Obviously it's important that we punish people for being cowards, but the obsessive use of "war crimes" by the liberal population is sickening.99% of those in the service are good people trying to do good during their time in the fleet. The sins of a few shouldn't reflect illy on the masses.

You've already lost the debate, kid. Do yourself a favor and give it a rest.
