Yeah, I also was thinking that they were dandelions. At first it appeared to be some kind of fountain but then the seeds started showing up.

I guess these are the pieces (seeds) of blow-balls, dandelions. i don't know for sure. maybe it would be good to ask the Author of this video.

i have been to that place in the video, it is deep within my soul many days journey from my waking slumber.Great use of a fairly simple scene, loved the particles falling into the water -is that studiomax you're using? can wait till i get my baseunit fixed so i can play in blender again!
