I used to be a Be Bop Deluxe fan back in the 70's. I just couldn't believe when Bill went solo in the early 80's playing such a radical different music and doing it so well!!!!!!He was a great musician ahead of his time.Love Bill.

Yes, he did sound design for two Yorkshire Theater Company productions. I think the other one might have been Das Kabinett des Doktor Caligari. I got them both as bonus LPs included with early 1980s releases.

Great. I've been hoping to hear this again for ages. A long-forgotten quality tune. Radio 1 tried their best with it at the time but sadly it didn't chart.

I've got The summer of god's piano on vinyl (1984) but can't find any images on u-tube, anything out there? Didn't get the album until about 88, but brilliant & hypnotic.
