i think you shouldnt take too many things seriously because its also a part showmanship seeing it is done for tv and not so much for a knowledgable martial arts crowd but you are totally right about facing multiplle opponents

It's ok, that guy is good, but when he was defending against 3 attackers he stayed between them all which is the worst thing that you could possibly do. He should have gone to either side but not in the middle because he now has to fight 3 attackers at the same time which is physically impossible. If he stepped to the side then he could have used one guy as a shield from the other two. Apart from that, it was a good video

Wing Chun! Not Ving Tsun!

this is one of the best Ving Tsun demonstrations i have seen. stable horse, simultaneous offense and defense, relaxed technique. very impressive.

This is solid video. Sifu Kam has excellent form and demonstrates many of the basic techniques, especially capturing the centerline and controlling the opponent. Good upper and lower body technique. Notice how each techique has simultaneous offense and defense. Wing Chun is all about capturing the centerline and using redirecting the opponents force - never go against force. Let's keep the comments about technique and not about silly stuff like the spelling of WC. Silly people.

Well, even though you still train by using the techniques and forms, they are considered theory. It's only natural to find it hard to apply the theory into action without practicing. Thus, you need to do some sparring. Range, timing and other technical aspects are one thing, but you also get mentally prepared to fight another person. Doing some free style practice from time to time doesn't hurt, either ;)
