I don't think there is an argument if the Philippines lies in Asia as it is very obvious that it is part of the Asian continent. What was said is that, the Philippines has hispanic culture which is true. There is no Filipino race, Filipino is a nationality. So it means that somebody of hispanic, chinese, malay descent may be a Filipino national. Filipinos are of diverse ascension. And I repeat, Filipinos are not spanish haters.

Dear eugenesmart: Yes, The Philippines is very Hispanic, the problem is the education that most filipinos get in their educational system, AND THEN the disaster once they emigrate to USA. "Since The Philippines are in Asia, they are Asian". And they get bounced back like ping pong "Austronesian, SEAsian, PacificIslander, Polynesian, Malay, Chinese..." because they are very gullible. If one of them says "heck, we are Hispanic", he gets mobbed. The solution lies in the Philippine Congress to fix.

The Philippines is very hispanic and retained the hispanic culture. Filipinos are not spanish haters, fyi.
