I think the dude means "fake" as in "staged".Actually according to the Bryant Varney - Jenga Towers webpage (accessible via Google for instance) the interview was indeed fake. And the tower's collapse was staged.And elsewhere I read NBC paid $1000 to show footage of it.

Regardless of if it was a setup, the tower, which still had to be built, was destroyed. But it seems real.
