This is a video of Oxytane and E85 in the stock Briggs engine. Idle is buttery smooth and the response is great. I squirted a bit less than 1ml of additive in 1 cup of E85 fuel and it ran for about 15 minutes before peacefully running out of fuel. 15 minutes of idling would get a little boring to watch ;). The cylinder head was cooler, response was up, and I could tune E85 rich or lean using a stock carb. The choke had to be turned up slightly (1/4 off full "run"), but it ran fine. This is impossible on E85 and a stock carb jet without Oxytane. Compared to the E50 blend we tried earlier, this mix idles and runs much smoother and colder. Other guys are converting their small engines to run on ethanol with simply bigger carb jets and hotter plugs. We ran E85 on stock everything with a hotter plug and Oxytane in the tank.
