Wow,Fiona just gets it right! It puts me in an amazing place. Does she seem to be laughing at the sillyness of the video going on around her? I could watch this many times over...

My favorite Beatle cover. I love Fiona's voice. Her vocals give the song this dreamy quality which is also perfect for this terrific film. Who directed this video? Paul Thomas Anderson or the director of Pleasantville.

THE BEATLES NEED TO BE SEEN FOR WHAT THEY REALLLY WERE: ANGELS OR SOME HIGHER BEINGS, PERHAPS UNKNOWINGLY/ MAHARISHI SAID THEY WERE ANCIENT 'GHANDARVAS'S" (MUSICIANS-SPIRITUAL) WHO HAD REINCARNATED TO HELP HIM SPREAD THE TM TECHNIQUE OF MEDITATION ETC AND THEY WERE HIGH NO DOUBT..ITS NOT EVEN JUST THE MUSIC: THEY WERE SOME KIND OF HIGHER FORCE OF PHENOMENON. wheeew long.

Typically people don't cover songs because they can't come up with their own material. Clearly Fiona Apple does fine writing her own material. They cover songs in tribute. Also, this song ws recorded for a film soundtrack so it's very possible Fiona was commissioned to do it or she had to get them a song quickly.
