LOL they wouldn't understand, i tried to explain the nu-metal fad in 1990's-2000. Like in horror movies the music was different. For example queen of the damned had numetal bands from korn-deftones--disturbed, Dracula 2000, Ghost ship had not falling by mudvayne as the credits. I miss the nu-metal genre, today music is dying and leaving faggot rappers like lil wayne to brainwash kids into nut riding pussy-wipped weezy fans. pskwiggles. just because a song is 10 minutes long doesnt mean they are working their asses of to make good music. it just means that it takes them 10 minutes for them to say what ever they are trying to say in that song. just because a song is 3 minutes long doesnt mean its bad.

When that age comes, I'll enjoy it more. Until then, nu-metal is just a bunch of guys with drop D guitars, churning out an album with 3 minute songs. There are at least 10 local bands doing the EXACT same thing where I live. I enjoy talent, not the same thing every album. Pick up an Opeth album - 5 songs all of them roughly 10 mins long and you can tell that they worked their asses off creating a beautiful and heavy as shit album for their fans. If nu-metal is going to improve I'll listen then.
