Finding Kara -- Kara Kopetsky is missing from Belton MO

Finding KaraKara Kopetsky 17 years old disappeared from Belton, MO on May 4, 2007. She was last seen leaving Belton High School. Kara does not have a car, so she would have either been on foot or someone picked her up. A junior in high school, she is 5' 5", with brown hair and hazel eyes. On the morning of Friday, May 4, 2007 Kara decided to walk to school just a few blocks away,later that morning, she called her mom to bring her a book she had fogotten, and to ask that she wash her uniform for work later that day at Popeyes.What happened next remains a mystery! Kara did come home from school that day nor did she go to work that afternoon. Her mom and stepdad called her repeatedly and called around looking for her before reporting her missing that evening.Kara no longer has braces as seen in this photo. pause, beat, Kara has a scar on her forehead. It has been confirmed that the last phone call on her cell phone was about 10:30 that morning. The police tell us that either the cell phone has been shut off or the battery has run down. In addition, there has been no activity on her bank account and nothing is missing from her house. All of her clothes, belongings, and IPOD are still in her room.Thursday, May 17, 2007 Three persons reported seeing Kara at a Burger King Rest.in Louisburg, KS along with a young male.The police department has followed up on leads as they have come in, but none have led them Kara.As you can tell from the pictures, Kara is known to change her hair color.

i knew her well so did my bro i am in 8th grade in belton and still remeber also the day they found the body on home coming it was scary
