Campbell Brown's segment No Bias, No Bull on CNN debunking the story the McCain campaign has been telling about Palin's jet sale on e-Bay. Gloria Borger, Bay Buchanan and Paul Begala weigh in, and Buchanan gets a bit defensive when Brown accusses her of repeating campaign talking points, which it sure sounds like she is doing. For anyone that wants to read about what this Sarah Palin is like, read this article: http://www.laprogressive.com/2...

Like most things out of sarah palin's mouth, it just wasn't true...but all those things that she puts in her mouth make up for it...

WE should ALL know that the Republicans were ALL along hiding the TRUTH from US. Palin was a JOKE!.............she was never what the Republicans made her to be. The REP needed popularity and they figured if BRITNEY can do it, why can't PALIN? Well, like usual the fame only last so long and at the end, it's DIASTER!!.....Just like britney's story. REP thinks Americans are STUPID to fall for their trick and they were right! Oh My GOD, Americans are stupid, no way dude!

Palin also neglected to say that the jet was already a political football before she even ran for Governor - she didn't come up with the idea to sell it. The controversy became little more than a convenient campaign stump item for her.Another thing that she didn't metion is that the jet was used by a number of departments within the Alaska overnment, not just the Governor. Nor did she mention that she still uses the King Air 200 that they have.Truth is about telling the WHOLE story.
JayM0001 (January 1, 1970 at 12:59 am)
Why didn't she say "I put it on EBay and it eventually sold through an aircraft broker?" The answer is simple - because the EBay thing was intended to make her sound like a folksy, pragmatic politician. Both she and the McCain camp were trying to create a specific image of her. This is commonly referred to as constructive lying. Its not exactly an untruth, but it is an intentioned deception, for the purpose of presenting a situation as something other than what it was.Guess it didn't work

Her words were, "...so I PUT it on eBay."
StateofMind09 (January 1, 1970 at 12:59 am)
No, she sold it. It didn't sell on eBay, so she sold it elsewhere. It's stated in the video.I'm not (was not) a Palin fan. Her being chosen as VP specifically turned me off of McCain. I just didn't think the arguments here were fair. I doubt she would have made a good VP, and lord forbid President, but the accusations in the video were reaching.

PALIN LIES!-She said she "SOLD" the jet.-She claims to be a fiscal conservative.even though she imposed a tax on Wasila and left a $20million debt.-She claims to love america, but associates with the Alaskan Independence Party. -She Claims to have been the Commander and Chief of the Alsaka National Guard, but the National Guard fallas under the jurisdiction of the Fed.Government during war.-Actually, she was a HUGE supporter for the Bridge initially.
kinga750 (January 1, 1970 at 12:59 am)
She put the plane on Ebay, but didn't sell it. She turned the bridge down after she found out the federal government wasn't going to pay for it all. Prior to that she was all for it (even sporting a T-shirt, if I recall correctly). I'm sorry, but this is not some left wing anti Palin propaganda. These are facts, that are well proven. And just so this really sinks in: I would rather McCain was president than Obama (barely, I dislike them both strongly).
